Indians ace Corey Kluber suffers right ulna fracture

Cleveland Indians ace Corey Kluber suffered a fracture during Wednesday’s loss to the Miami Marlins when he was struck by a line drive comebacker.

Following the game, the Indians announced that Kluber suffered a non-displaced fracture of his right ulna bone.

That definitely doesn’t seem good, especially for a right-handed pitcher like Kluber. Still, until more is announced following Thursday’s reevaluation, everything is just speculation.

Kluber has generally struggled through the early part of 2019. In his first seven outings, he has a 2-3 record with a 5.80 ERA, 1.654 WHIP, 38 strikeouts in 35.2 innings, and only two quality starts.
