Indiana Pacers forward T.J. Warren will miss the rest of the season after playing in just four games, the team announced Thursday.

Warren underwent surgery in early January to repair a small left navicular stress fracture in his left foot. Warren suffered the injury in December after averaging 15.5 points per game in four contests.

The team had hoped Warren would be able to return for a playoff push before shutting him down Thursday.

Warren’s 2016 campaign was also cut short by season-ending surgery for a stress fracture when he was with Phoenix.

Warren has averaged 15.5 points per game in seven seasons with the Pacers and Suns, who drafted the NC State product No. 14 overall in the 2014 draft.
