If he wants, Terrell Owens could join Johnny Manziel in Canada

Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens is aiming a bit higher than this, but if he wants to play football and nobody in the NFL comes calling, he could join Johnny Manziel by taking his talents to Canada.

According to David William Naylor of TSN, the Edmonton Eskimos have added Terrell Owens to their negotiation list.

As noted by Naylor, Owens is on the wrong side of 40, at the age of 44, and hasn’t played in an NFL game since the 2010 season. In fact, T.O. is just a couple months away from being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, though he says he won’t attend.

In the meantime, Owens has been keeping himself in phenomenal shape. He posted video of himself running the 40-yard-dash on Monday, and he’d put many of today’s rookies to shame (watch here).

During his NFL career, Owens hauled in 1,078 passes for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns.
