Hue Jackson turning to faith to stop Marvin Jones

This Sunday, the Cleveland Browns will travel to Detroit to square off with the Lions and attempt to notch their first win. A big part of Cleveland coming out on top will be to limit the Lions’ pass attack. This includes shutting down the red-hot Marvin Jones.

Jones is coming off of a 107-yard, two-touchdown performance. It is not surprising that Browns head coach Hue Jackson plans to rely on his faith to deal with Jones.

Jackson knows Jones’ capabilities after working with the wideout as members of the Cincinnati Bengals. Jackson served as Jones’ offensive coordinator. If anything, Jones is playing the best football of his five-year career this season.

He is on pace for a career-high 1,030 yards and 10 touchdowns. Jackson should be pulling out all the stops as he prepares his Browns to face Jones.

And, not only do the Browns have to be worried about Jones, fellow wideout Golden Tate is a force these days. Tate has managed 14 catches for 199 yards in his last two games.

We wish Jackson and the Browns luck closing down this dynamic duo.
