Connect, the Grade 1-winning son of Curlin and sire of several major stakes performers, has been sold to Seyda Ercan Stable and will relocate to Turkey for the 2027 breeding season.

The Turkish publication Yaris Dergisi, reported that the deal was brokered by bloodstock agent Murat Sancal.

The 13-year-old has stood at Lane’s End in Kentucky since entering stud in 2018.

Proven sire leaves Kentucky roster

Connect’s sale is a notable bloodstock move because his recent runners have kept him in the wider racing conversation through the 2026 Triple Crown season.

As Connect is also the sire of Ocelli, third in this year’s Kentucky Derby, and Chip Honcho, who took bronze in the 2026 the Preakness Stakes.

His broader stallion record includes 237 winners and more than $30.4 million in progeny earnings.

Hi stallion horse racing profile lists Connect as standing at Lane’s End. With a 2026 stud fee of $10,000 and identifies Rattle N Roll as his leading progeny by earnings.

That profile also places him as a son of Curlin out of Bullville Belle, by Holy Bull.

Connect won six of his eight starts and earned $1,370,000 on the track.

His own race record was headed by the Grade 1 Cigar Mile, Grade 2 Pennsylvania Derby and Grade 3 Westchester Stakes.
