Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry has been ruled out of the team’s next three games due to lingering left knee pain.

Lowry, 36, sat out the Heat’s 123-115 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. He has missed 10 games thus far this season.

“I think this is just what you deal with in a long NBA season,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Tuesday, per the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “There’s going to be unpredictable things. The encouraging thing about it is there doesn’t need to be a procedure. … We just need to calm it down.”

Lowry has averaged 12.0 points, 5.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 44 games (all starts) this season.

A six-time All-Star, Lowry has contributed 14.7 points, 6.3 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 1,067 career games (831 starts) with the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors and Heat.
