Hawks Talon Gaming traded John “WITNESS” Mushaben to Wizards District Gaming in exchange for the 37th pick in this month’s NBA 2KLeague draft.
“We feel that this move opens up some flexibility leading up to the draft in terms of how we can build around our core,” Hawks Talon GC esports director Wesley Acuff said in a news release on Friday.
Hawks Talon GC already holds the No. 1 overall pick and the 31st selection in the three-round draft on Jan. 26.
The NBA 2K League expanded to 25 teams for 2023 with the addition of Australia’s NBL Oz Gaming.
