San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbuagh didn’t stray away from the controversy that has overtaken his team during the offseason in a media session on Friday afternoon. The often-criticized head man fully backed quarterback Colin Kaepernick in his recent media-created off-field incident in Miami, Florida.
Harbaugh didn’t mince words in his support for Kaepernick while putting the media (mainly TMZ) on blast…
Harbaugh on CK: "At some point there needs to be a resoluton to this jump-the-gun witch hunt scenario… only victim is Colin's reputation."

If you remember correctly, TMZ reported earlier this month that Kaepernick was the subject of a sexual assault investigation in Miami, Florida stemming from a situation that occurred at Seattle Seahawks’ wide receiver Ricardo Lockette’s suite.
In what was originally reported to be an investigation surrounding Kaepernick has since been downgraded by reality to the authorities being called to Lockette’s suite because an unnamed woman refused to leave. These reports indicated that Kaepernick wasn’t at the residence when the authorities arrived.
We all know how much Harbaugh loves himself some British history, so this following quote involving the “Kaepernick” situation shouldn’t be considered too surprising.
Jim Harbaugh dropped this Winston Churchill quote: "A lie will get halfway around the world before the truth can put on his pants."

You have to give Harbaugh credit for fully backing his quarterback in the midst of some sort of investigation, rather than take the company line that he’s not going to comment. In the process, he put the sports media world on blast for our jumping to conclusion as it relates to this whole situation.
The minute that you start taking TMZ’s words as truth is the minute that you stop even trying to be credible.
THAT is my unfiltered take.
