One of the greatest managers in recent Major League Baseball history, former Atlanta Braves top dog Bobby Cox is currently suffering through a major health scare.

According to Zach Klein of WSB in Atlanta, Cox was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after suffering an apparent stroke.

There are no more details currently available as it relates to Cox’s condition. Having been the Braves’ manager for 25 years, Cox remains a fixture in Atlanta.

The 77-year-old Cox and Oklahoma native led Atlanta to a whopping 15 playoff appearances during his second stint with the team from 1990-2010. That included five World Series appearances and a title.

Here’s to our best for Cox, his family and the entire Braves’ organization.
