The Memphis Grizzlies announced Sunday that big man Jaren Jackson Jr. will be out at least two weeks after suffering a sprained left knee Friday night.
This injury isn’t major, but it isn’t exactly nothing, either.
The team’s public relations Twitter account shared that an MRI revealed a sprained left knee and that Jackson will be re-evaluated in two weeks, with further updates coming “as appropriate.”
The team’s 2018 first-round pick (No. 4 overall) is having a rock-solid second season as a pro, averaging 16.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.
