Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen was activated ahead of Week 12 for the first time since he suffered a broken foot back in Week 2. Unfortunately for the All-Pro, he didn’t make it through Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
Olsen aggravated the foot injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Greg Olsen has aggravated his surgically repaired foot. Done for the day.

This is a frustrating development for Olsen on a personal level, no doubt. It’s also got to be frustrating for the Panthers, who entered Week 12 one game behind the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South and who need that extra offensive firepower.
Hopefully for their sake, Olsen’s injury isn’t significant.
Before this season, Olsen has eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving three years running with 16 receiving touchdowns in that span. He’s one of the best in the game today.
