Gonzaga senior guard Andrew Nembhard is entering the 2022 NBA Draft.

“Coming to Gonzaga was truly one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I am so grateful for this place,” Nembhard posted to Twitter on Thursday. “I am thankful and blessed to be a part of teams with so much success and accomplishments but nothing compares to all the relationships I have made over these last two years that will last me a lifetime.”

Nembhard played two seasons at Florida before transferring to Gonzaga ahead of the 2020-21 campaign. With the Bulldogs, he played in 64 games (48 starts) and averaged 10.5 points, 5.1 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 46.4 percent from the field and 81.3 percent from the foul line.

The 6-foot-5 Nembhard is the No. 50 prospect in the ESPN 100.

Nembhard was a first-team All-WCC selection in 2021-22, when he averaged 11.8 points, 5.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds — all career highs.

Gonzaga, the No. 1 seed in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, also is losing junior Drew Timme to the draft. Freshman Chet Holmgren, projected as a top pick, has yet to declare.

The draft will be held June 23 in Brooklyn.
