Tiger Woods is undergoing intensive treatment in a Swiss rehab facility following his DUI arrest last month. And it appears his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, is standing firmly by his side.

Woods was arrested following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida, late last month. Authorities reported finding two hydrocodone pills in his pocket during the arrest, and Woods admitted to taking several medications earlier that day. He was charged with misdemeanor DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical or physical test.

Woods pleaded not guilty to the DUI charges, but publicly acknowledged the seriousness of the situation in a statement on X, announcing he would step away to seek treatment and focus on his health. A judge approved his request to leave the country for the rehab stint.

According to sources close to the situation, Woods is receiving intense physical and psychological care at a 90-day facility in Zurich, Switzerland. The good news is he is reportedly making tremendous strides in addressing long-standing pain management issues without relying on addictive opioids.

Insiders, according to People magazine, say he maintains limited contact with a small circle—including Vanessa Trump, his children, and agent Mark Steinberg—and that he is responding well to the treatment.

One source noted that a dedicated pain management doctor is helping him manage his body pain responsibly. Although the program is described as rigorous, Woods can leave voluntarily at any time. But those close to him believe he’s committed to getting better.

“He knows he needs to beat his issues and also deal with the pain from not only playing golf but also from his regular fitness schedule,” a source told the outlet.

Vanessa Trump ‘Very Happy’ With Tiger Woods’ Progress in Swiss Rehab

The source reportedly maintains that Woods “still has golf in him,” and “he just wants to get better in all areas of his life.”

Vanessa, it seems, has been very supportive as the 15-time Major champion goes through one of the toughest stretches of his life.

“Tiger needed to do intensive therapy, and his girlfriend Vanessa has been in favor of it,” the insider tells People. “She still supports this and supports him. She loves him and knows that private treatment was necessary.”

The couple, who went public with their relationship in March 2025, maintains regular communication while he is away, and Trump’s optimistic outlook can only be beneficial as Woods works toward a full recovery.

Woods has become closely integrated into Trump’s family, particularly with her daughter Kai.
