Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo and tight end Darnell Washington declared for the 2023 NFL Draft after winning back-to-back national titles with the Bulldogs.

Both players confirmed the expected decisions on social media Thursday.

Ringo is regarded as a top-20 overall prospect and Washington is one of the top three players at his position going into the April 28-30 draft.

Ringo registered 42 tackles, two interceptions and one forced fumble last season. He will be long remembered for his pick-six in the 2021 CFP final against Alabama, clinching a 33-18 win for Georgia’s first title in 41 seasons.

“To my Bulldogs who have been between the hedges with me both past and present, we have won in many areas, but on the field we’ve earned the title of national champions — two times,” Ringo wrote on Instagram. “We have helped build something special and I’m grateful to have had you as a teammate.”

The 6-foot-7, 270-pound Washington caught 28 passes for 454 yards and two touchdowns in 2022, including a 14-yard TD in the SEC title game win against LSU.

“To DAWG nation: Thank you for the consistent support. You are the best in the world and it was an honor to plaly in front of you,” Washington posted on Instagram. “My time in Athens has come to an end as I work to pursue my dreams of playing in the NFL.”
