Gary Kubiak expected to be released from hospital on Monday

Following his team’s home game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak was admitted to a local hospital with flu-like symptoms.

It had previously been reported that the Broncos were unsure Kubiak would be able to coach the team Thursday night against the San Diego Chargers.

Now comes this encouraging news from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

There’s really no other information available at this time. What we do know is that Kubiak does have a history of trips to the hospital during his years as a NFL coach.

Back in 2013, Kubiak suffered what was described as a mini-stroke during halftime of a game when he was the head coach of the Houston Texans.
