After being cleared on domestic violence charges, free agent cornerback Tramaine Brock is expected to draw a ton of interest on the open market. The 28-year-old defensive back was released by San Francisco during the spring after starting 31 games over the past two seasons.

He’s now reportedly set to meet with the division-rival Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.

“Cleared on domestic violence charges, free-agent cornerback Tramaine Brock will officially commence his search for a new job on Tuesday,” Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported Monday. “Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Brock will visit the Seahawks.”

Despite having All Pro Richard Sherman on the roster, Seattle is in desperate need of an upgrade on the other side of the field. With plus-level starting experience, Brock could very well fill that role. He’s put up 45 passes defended and 11 interceptions in his seven-year career — all with the 49ers.

The issue here for Seattle is that Brock could potentially demand north of $10 million annually. That might be too rich for the team’s blood.
