Frank Gore reportedly out for rest of season with foot injury

Miami Dolphins running back Frank Gore was carted off the field with a foot injury during Sunday’s game in Minnesota, and he reportedly won’t play again in 2018.

One of the league’s true iron men, Gore has a huge streak going that will now be snapped.

The ageless wonder has been a big weapon in Miami’s offense this year. In 14 games, he tallied 846 yards and a touchdown from scrimmage.

An additional streak that will be snapped is that Gore will not eclipse 1,000 yards from scrimmage for the first time in since his rookie season. He had hit that mark the past 12 seasons running.

The future Hall of Famer has a decision to make now. Will he retire, or will he come back for another go in 2019?

Should Gore opt to end his career now, he’ll do so with 14,748 yards and 77 scores on the ground, and 18,544 yards from scrimmage with 95 total touchdowns.
