Former University of Notre Dame receiver Kevin Stepherson — who was dismissed from the team shortly after a shoplifting arrest — is in trouble with the law again.

“The Whitley County Sheriffs office confirmed to NewsCenter 16 Sunday morning that that Stepherson was arrested on Friday night for possession of marijuana, visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia,” Angelo Di Carlo of wndu.com reported. “He bonded out on Saturday and has his first court date set for Monday.”

Stepherson was one of the Fighting Irish’s top receiving weapons in 2017. He caught 19 passes for 359 yards, and added a team leading five touchdown receptions.

Stepherson was arrested prior to the Citrus Bowl along with teammate C.J. Holmes. Both were sent home from the game and later dismissed from the program.
