From 2016-2017, former West Virginia running back Justin Crawford was among the most-productive running backs in the Big 12. That span saw him combine for 2,350 total yards while earning All-Conference honors once.

Crawford’s life and career has taken a dark turn. After receiving a training camp invite with the Falcons last year, Crawford was arrested in October of 2018 in Georgia for allegedly having sexual intercourse and oral sex with the girl.

He was charged with incest, child molestation, sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purpose.

Crawford has now decided to plead guilty on child molestation and sodomy charges. According to TMZ Sports, said plea deal includes 12 years in prison and 20 years of probation.

“In exchange for the pleas, a court official tells TMZ Sports Crawford was sentenced to 12 years in prison,” the report read. “He was also hit with 20 years of probation, which will begin at the same time as his sentence behind bars.“
