Forget the Warriors, JuJu Smith-Schuster wants LeBron James on Steelers

ESPN’s Chris Haynes reported LeBron James is open to considering the Golden State Warriors in free agency, and JuJu Smith-Schuster wants his Pittsburgh Steelers to join the sweepstakes.

Smith-Schuster posted a photoshopped image of LeBron in a Steelers uniform, adding the caption “Time for the next big move” and tagging the NBA All-Star.

No word on how this would affect starting safety Mike Mitchell, who currently wears No. 23 for the Steelers.

Jokes aside, LeBron has been connected to the NFL once in a while. While in high school, he garnered attention from major schools like Alabama, Miami, Notre Dame and Ohio State. Urban Meyer, then an assistant coach at Notre Dame, offered James a scholarship as a wide receiver.

We’ll never know how LeBron would’ve fared on the football field, but it sure is an interesting thought.
