Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan cruised into the upper-bracket final in Group C with victories Thursday at the ESL Pro League Season 18 event in Malta.

NaVi swept Apeks 2-0, while FaZe charged past Fnatic 2-1.

In Thursday’s other action, Imperial Esports beat 9z Team 2-0 and 5yclone did the same to M80 in the first round of the mid bracket. 9z and M80 dropped into the lower bracket quarterfinals.

The $850,000 event features 32 teams broken up into four groups of eight. The group stage is triple-elimination with upper, middle and lower brackets. All matches are best-of-three until the grand final, which is best-of-five.
