Sometimes news breaks that allows us to realize that football is just a sport. It’s a game grown men play to entertain the masses.

That’s come to fruition following news that an unknown man died in the stands at M&T Bank Stadium during the Tennessee Titans win over the Ravens in Baltimore Saturday night.

“We can confirm there was an incident last night at the stadium where a fan collapsed while walking on the steps of the upper deck,” a Ravens spokesman said, via the Capital Gazette. “Medical personnel arrived quickly, but attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. We expect to have more information later.”

There’s no further information regarding the cause of death.

Though, the Baltimore Fire Department did tell a local CBS News affiliate that they were not the first responders.
