Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank is showing extraordinary generosity with a $5.4 million commitment to helping Georgia and Montana during the coronavirus pandemic. The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation announced Friday that it is making a significant financial contribution that will help people in need during this trying time.

The Falcons shared this news on the team’s official website.

“As a Family Foundation we have always believed that it is the power of many that will make the greatest impact on the most pressing issues in our society,” said Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank. “This is that moment – to join together to truly harness the power of all of us to address a challenge that knows no boundaries and has no precedent in our lifetimes.”

The foundation is donating $5 million to the “Greater Atlanta COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund established by United Way of Greater Atlanta and Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta.”

The remaining funds being donated will help support Atlanta-area schools, police and food banks, along with funds to help Native Americans and food banks in Montana.
