Cadillac arrives at the Miami Grand Prix in a one-off, ‘Stars and Stripes’ livery to kick off its first Formula 1 race on home soil. The team describes it as a “statement of pride” created specifically for the May 1–3 weekend, livery designed as a subtle tribute to its American roots in this 2026 season.

The livery has come about in conjunction with TWG AI (the exclusive AI partner for Cadillac Formula 1 and Andretti Global) and both are using Miami as a chance to really drive the “American identity” of their brand and get their story out in front of a home crowd.

The changes are spread across the car and the livery adapts Cadillac’s usual black-and-white identity with layered patriotic details. The front wing has a nice touch with 50 stars etched on, each one representing one US state.

The back of the car has a big ‘USA’ inscription on the rear wing in red, white and blue on a white background. It’s the most eye-catching bit of the car and definitely the most flag-waving.

The main bodywork still keeps that familiar black and white scheme, but this time its got stars and stripes subtly blended in.

The engine cover does keep the theme going, but in a much more understated way with the stars and stripes are fading into the regular livery so it doesn’t feel like a whole new car and keeps a balance between special edition styling and the team’s core visual identity.

Both Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez will also wear special Miami race suits with the same kind of American-inspired detailing as the car’s design.

With these visual changes, F1 Cadillac is using the Miami weekend as a big promotional platform, including fan activations in the Miami Design District and a merchandise collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger.

The team describes this as a natural progression of what they already had. TWG AI is framing it as a statement of who they are and what they’re all about. A whole innovation vibe and partnership between two American brands.

The car will make its track debut in front of a home crowd on Friday’s practice session.
