Eric Reid still salty, shares he’s been hit with another ‘random’ drug test

Carolina Panthers safety Eric Reid, fresh off signing a brand new contract with his team and settling with the NFL over his collusion claims, is still salty over being selected for the league’s random drug tests.

On Monday, Reid tweeted out that he’d been hit with another “random” test (quotations via Reid), shouting out his trainer in the process.

Reid didn’t hide his disdain over being tested seven times in 11 weeks last year after signing with Carolina, and many times Reid made it clear he felt he was being unfairly targeted by the league.

Whether that’s true or not, it’s something he clearly holds to be true still.

However, it’s worth noting that this was the first test for Reid during the offseason, and that every player can be tested up to six times during each offseason.

The good news here is that Reid keeps coming back clean, and that he looks great.
