Kansas City Chiefs All Pro safety Eric Berry is among the best and most inspirational football players on the planet. Having overcome cancer to return to elite form on the field, he’s one of the faces of the Chiefs’ franchise.
Though, there’s now another Berry in the mix with the Chiefs. Eric’s younger brother, Elliott, is taking part in the team’s rookie minicamp this week.
Elliott Berry, the younger brother of Kansas City S Eric Berry, is taking part in the Chiefs’ rookie mini-camp this weekend on a tryout basis. Like Eric, he played at Tennessee.

Like his older brother, the younger Berry played for Tennessee. A part-time linebacker during his time in Knoxville, Berry is coming off a 2017 season with the Volunteers that saw him record 27 tackles, four passes defended and 1.5 sacks.
It’s highly unlike that Berry will make his way on to the Chiefs’ 90-man roster. He was not even on the radar of NFL teams in last week’s draft. Even then, this is still a pretty awesome story for the Berry family. And who knows, maybe Elliott will stand out in camp.
