Enzo Amore and Big Cass are the future of the WWE Tag Team Division

If I had a dime for anytime someone said that they didn’t like Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy, I’d have…

ZERO DIMES!!!

The future of WWE’s tag team division is the combination of a small wise-guy type character from New Jersey named Enzo Amore and his best friend, 7-foot tall enforcer and associate Colin Cassidy — affectionately referred to as Big Cass — who is from Queens.

After just three weeks on the main roster, it’s crystal clear as to why Enzo is known for his mic skills from his NXT days. As you can see in the video below, Smacktalker Skywalker, as he refers to himself, is one of the best mic guys the WWE has featured in a long, long time.

And this was how they debuted on Raw. When you make an impact, you make an impact.

They aren’t just great mic guys, though. Colin Cassidy is one of the best big men out there and has shown it in the ring early on. They always know how to tell a story and set the mood before a match, too.

The ring psychology is only enhanced by their smack talk prior to a match. You get this idea that “The Realest Guys in the Room” are going to fight to the end to win. And even if they lose, they’ll know they went down putting everything they have into the effort.

But the best thing to see from Enzo and Cass comes from the crowd. Whenever they come out, they get loud pops. Whenever they do their signature, “LET ME SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU,” catchphrase spelling S-A-W-F-T, they never have to actually say SAWFT because the crowd does it for them.

During matches, you hear chants of “Certified G, Bona Fide Thug” while Enzo is wrestling. They keep you entertained from beginning to end. And because of that, even if they never win a champion, Enzo and Cass are here to stay. The WWE would be wise to try and capitalize on them while it can, too.

Enzo has a great personality to go against some of the best mic guys the WWE currently has. Imagine how he would tear apart the League of Nations on the mic. Imagine the fun you could have with The New Day and Enzo in a feud.

And hopefully, after the win over the Dudley Boyz this past week, Enzo and Cass are headed towards that feud.

Welcome to the future of wrestling. Where it’s actually fun to watch again. And like Enzo and Cass would say, don’t be:

S-A-W-F-T SAAWWWFFFTTTT!!!!
