Emmanuel Sanders candidly calls out Garett Bolles for holding calls

Denver Broncos left tackle Garett Bolles has developed an awful habit of being flagged for holding penalties, and on Sunday he incurred four of them.

It’s been a big issue ever since he was selected 20th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. And on Tuesday, Broncos veteran receiver Emmanuel Sanders didn’t sugar coat the issue when asked about how the team is handling it.

The bottom line is that Sanders and his Broncos teammates are pretty fed up with one player causing so much harm to the offense as a whole. Sanders isn’t taking shots at Bolles here, but he is making it clear that these mistakes cannot keep happening, too.

The comment “it’s been happening for like two of three years” shows just how frustrated Sanders is with these penalties.

And based on the way Sanders wrapped up his commentary on this issue (“We’ll see.”) it’s clear he doesn’t know if Bolles has it in him to make the necessary adjustment to fix it.
