Earl Thomas shares video of his first day running after broken leg

Earl Thomas is one of the men who could become the 2017 NFL Comeback Player of the Year

Things appear to be looking up for Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas, who managed his first running workout since breaking his leg in December.

Thomas broke his leg playing against the Carolina Panthers in early December. Following the injury, Thomas even floated out the word “retirement” on his Twitter account. Last season marked the only time in Thomas’ career that he missed time due to injury.

Fast forward a few months and it would appear Thomas’ mind set is quite positive. Both legs look to be working quite well after watching Thomas run on his anti-gravity treadmill.

The Seahawks chimed in on Thomas in mid-January, noting they expect their All-Pro safety to be healthy to return at the start of the 2017 season. Provided Thomas postpones retirement, he will enter his eighth year with the Seahawks this fall.
