Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz was injured Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys but came back and gutted it out despite fracturing his rib.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media shared this injury update on Monday.
Ertz wasn’t the star of Saturday’s show. While he played through the fractured rib, teammate Dallas Goedert had his finest game as a professional, catching nine passes for 91 yards and a touchdown to lead the Eagles in all three categories.
Still, Ertz would not be denied the chance to contribute, and he finished with four receptions for 28 yards.
If the Eagles are going to stay ahead of the Cowboys in the AFC East in Week 17, Ertz will likely be a big part of that.
