The Philadelphia Eagles have locked up two-time Pro Bowl guard Brandon Brooks up for the foreseeable future, signing him to a four-year extension.
ESPN’s Adam Caplan first broke the news on this, noting Brooks is now signed though the 2024 season and that his old deal would have expired after the 2020 season.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports the deal is worth $54.2 million, including $30 million guaranteed.
Since his second season in 2013, Brooks has started 99 games for the Houston Texans and the Eagles, whom he joined in 2016 as a free agent.
Brooks was originally a third-round pick out of Miami (OH) back in 2012. The small-school product has clearly been phenomenal as a pro and has only gotten better with age, earning Pro Bowl bids the past two seasons.
