Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean was activated from injured reserve on Saturday.

Dean recorded seven tackles before injuring his foot in the Eagles’ 25-20 victory at the New England Patriots on Sept. 10. His 21-day practice window started this week, and he was a full participant on Friday.

A third-round draft pick out of Georgia in 2022, Dean, 22, played in all 17 games as a rookie and registered 13 tackles while mostly playing on special teams.

In a corresponding move, the Eagles placed wide receiver Quez Watkins on injured reserve after sustaining a hamstring injury Friday and being ruled out for Sunday’s game at the New York Jets (2-3).

Watkins, who will be out at least four games, already has missed two games because of a hamstring injury. The Eagles (5-0) did not disclose if it was reaggravated in practice.

Watkins, 25, has four receptions for 21 yards in three games (two starts) this season. He has 87 catches for 1,128 yards and five touchdowns in 43 career games (22 starts) since the Eagles selected him in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Southern Mississippi.

Philadelphia also elevated wide receiver Devon Allen and cornerback Mekhi Garner from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.
