Duke Johnson feels ‘unwanted,’ still wants Browns to trade him

The Cleveland Browns don’t want to trade running back Duke Johnson, but he isn’t feeling the love and still wants out.

Johnson, who skipped voluntary workouts but showed up to mandatory minicamp, told reporters that he feels “unwanted,” wants to play for a team that wants him and still wants to be traded.

This really isn’t all that surprising. The Browns brought in former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt this offseason. Despite the fact that Hunt will miss the first half of the campaign on suspension, Johnson has to feel he isn’t seen as a key player for the Browns following that move.

A pass-catching star who has seemingly been underutilized throughout his tenure in Cleveland, Johnson is a valuable player who could star on many other teams.
