The Not-So Mighty Ducks

In this new age with cameras on everything from watches to eye glasses, it’s so darn easy to make a fool of yourself in public. Whether it’s being drunk in public and falling over a curve or spilling your Starbucks coffee all over yourself, there are so many different avenues to pursue here. And then you have this…

When there is a teenage kid behind you on a rollercoaster laughing while you are nearly in tears, it’s a pretty embarrassing moment. When you’re the toast of the town as an All-American football player, it’s even more embarrassing.

This is the situation that current NFL players LaMichael James and Kenjon Barner found themselves in during their days with the University of Oregon. Notice Barner looking like he’s legit about to break down in tears like he just flushed his goldfish down the toilet? Meanwhile, James seems to auditioning for that character in a horror movie that goes down to the basement when we all know he/she shouldn’t.

You can just hear the music, right?  I for one can’t handle rollercoaster’s. They make my stomach turn and force me into a fit of anxiety that only a visitor to Bates Motel could understand. Oh, and LaMichael James himself.

Barner, on the other hand…

Varsity Blues, aye?

In any event, I surely hope Patrick Willis and Luke Kuechly rag on these two at practice during training camp this summer. If San Francisco or Carolina wins the Super Bowl, a trip to Disneyland may literally be on deck….
