Drew Brees sets wrong kind of record on TNF

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been a historically great season for New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. However, the All-Pro quarterback set the wrong kind of record on Thursday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys.

Brees started Thursday’s game with four incompletions, marking the first time he missed his first four pass attempt to start a game in his NFL career.

Some quarterbacks make missing passes seem routine, while Brees has reached such an incredible level of greatness where this marked his first poor start like this in his career.

As the Saints trail 10-0 against the Cowboys, New Orleans will need Brees to start completing some passes and finding his MVP form in order to make a comeback.
