Drew Brees putting up record-setting game ball to help support Hurricane Michael relief

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees recently became the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards when he connected with rookie Tre’Quan Smith against the Washington Redskins.

Now, he’s auctioning off a game ball from that record-setting performance for people who want to donate and help the Hurricane Michael relief efforts in Florida.

“After the devastation of Hurricane Michael, the people of Florida need our help. Now I’m turning to you for your support,” Brees wrote on his Instagram post. “With just a $10 donation to the Brees Dream Foundation, you’ll be helping those affected AND you’ll be entered to win one of the game balls from our record-setting performance vs. the Redskins.”

It’s a win-win for everyone involved. This year’s hurricane season has been devastating, and the recovery efforts will be going on for months and years to come.
