Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green just recently returned from a five-game suspension for putting Minnesota Timberwolves big man Rudy Gobert in a chokehold earlier this season.

For the four-time NBA champion, it was the continuation of major on-court problems throughout the 2023-24 NBA season.

Apparently, Green still can’t control his emotions. The future Hall of Famer was ejected from Tuesday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns for legitimately punching center Jusuf Nurkic in the head. It was blatant. It was ugly.

What in the world is Green actually thinking here? He didn’t think it would go unnoticed that he loaded up and socked Nurkic in the face.

This represents the third time that Green has been ejected through less than 23 full games for the Golden State Warriors. It will also undoubtedly lead to a suspension from the NBA league office after Green was warned following his five-game ban earlier in the season.

Green was suspended for a game in the first round of the 2023 Western Conference Playoffs against the Sacramento Kings when he stomped on All-Star Domantas Sabonis’ chest in Game 2. During the 2022-23 regular season, Green was suspended for reaching the technical foul threshold of 16.

That’s one of the bigest takeaways here. The Warriors entered Tuesday night with a 10-12 record. They have struggled big time on the campaign. Green’s continued antics are only going to create more issues moving forward.

In what can’t be considered too much of a surprise, Green was on the receiving end of criticism through social media. He’s earned all of the criticism he gets. And in reality, Green only has himself to blame for what you’re going to see below.
