Golden State Warriors Draymond Green could be suspended three weeks, according to a report from The Athletic, during what the NBA called an “indefinite suspension.”

Green has been suspended twice this season by the NBA, the latest coming on Dec. 16 after he threw a backhanded punch at Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns.

He was suspended earlier in the season for putting Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert in a chokehold.

Because of the suspensions, Green has played in 15 games this season and is averaging 9.7 points and 5.5 rebounds.

Green has begun counseling, according to the report.

The Warriors said last week they are continuing to support Green, who signed a four-year, $100 million contract in the offseason.
