Doug Baldwin and Marshawn Lynch aren’t teammates with the Seattle Seahawks anymore. But Baldwin still has fond memories of what it was like when they were.
On Sunday, Baldwin’s Seahawks will oppose Lynch’s Oakland Raiders. It will be Lynch’s first game against Seattle since leaving after the 2015 season. Ahead of the game, Baldwin shared a moving story about how Lynch treated Baldwin when he was a young receiver.
Doug Baldwin, talking about how Marshawn Lynch was universally "beloved" in Seattle's locker room, told a story about a young WR who told Lynch he liked his backpack. Lynch took it off, emptied it out and gave it to him on the spot. Asked which WR it was, Baldwin said it was him.

We’ve certainly seen that Lynch is a generous person. So, it’s not surprising to hear that this translates to his teammates. But it is a very nice story.
Beyond the backpack, it goes to show what kind of teammate Lynch was and what an example he set for Baldwin as a young player.
