Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer will remain on paid administrative leave at least another week.

His leave is now through Sept. 3, multiple outlets reported Friday — the day his leave was set to expire. It’s the seventh extension agreed to by Major League Baseball and the players union as investigators from both MLB and police in Pasadena, Calif., continue to look into allegations of sexual assault against Bauer.

A San Diego woman has accused Bauer of assaulting her during a sexual encounter at his Pasadena house in May. Representatives for Bauer have countered that everything that happened between the two of them on the two occasions they were together — the other time was in April — was consensual.

The woman received a temporary order of protection in late June, and on Aug. 19, a judge in Los Angeles County Superior Court denied her application for a permanent restraining order.

Bauer, the reigning National League Cy Young Award winner, signed a three-year, $102 million contract with the Dodgers in the offseason. Before his leave, he was 8-5 with a 2.59 ERA in 17 starts with the Dodgers.

The 30-year-old last started a game on June 28.
