The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to terms with right-hander Zach Davies on a one-year deal with a mutual option for 2024.
Terms of the deal announced Wednesday were not disclosed. ESPN reported Davies will earn $5 million plus up to $3.25 million in incentives.
Davies, 29, went 2-5 with a 4.09 ERA in 27 starts in his first season with Arizona in 2022.
He is 58-53 with a 4.14 ERA in 182 career starts with the Milwaukee Brewers (2015-19), San Diego Padres (2020), Chicago Cubs (2021) and Diamondbacks.
