For two years in a row, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant thought he should have been a contender to be voted on the prestigious Madden cover.

Bryant is coming off a dominant season that saw him post 1,320 yards and 16 touchdowns. With these numbers, it is easy to see where Bryant is coming from.

We saw Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman grace the front of the Madden 15 cover. For the Madden 16 cover, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. earned the right after putting up one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history.

The one thing Bryant can embrace is not being susceptible to the unfortunate Madden curse.

However, shouldn’t the one really feeling snubbed be New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski? Even with his fame and popularity on top of an excellent 2014 season, he was beat by rookie competition.
