DeSean Jackson signed his new contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday morning after being traded by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The move puts Jackson right back to where his career got started as a second-round pick out of Cal Berkeley back in 2008. And as a bonus, fans that didn’t get rid of their old D-Jax jerseys will be happy to know he’s going to wear No. 10 once more.

During his press conference following the signing of his deal, Jackson made it clear he never wants to leave Philly again.

Jackson’s best years as a professional athlete have been spent as a member of the Eagles. During his previous six years with the franchise, he caught 356 passes for 6,117 yards and 32 touchdowns.
In the five seasons since he left the Eagles in free agency, Jackson caught just 233 passes for 4,144 yards and 21 touchdowns.
So, it’s no surprise that he practically forced his way out of Tampa Bay to get back home to where it all started.
Now that he’s with the Eagles and will be playing with young quarterback Carson Wentz, Jackson has a real shot to make a big impact once more.
