The NFL owners approved the Raiders’ relocation to Las Vegas on Monday. While fan reactions are likely to range all over the charts, quarterback Derek Carr was quick to write up a heartfelt message to loyal Oakland fans.

Carr being the classy guy he is stated his message beautifully. For now, the Raiders are on course to play in Oakland at least throughout the 2017 season. The focus is obviously to build on last season’s winning record and not let news of the move become a distraction.
Carr’s Raiders made it to the playoffs for the first time since 2002. Fans continuing to remain united will only help the Raiders when they eventually transition to Vegas.
We shall hope for the Raiders’ sake that the move goes over much more smoothly than the recent Chargers relocation to Los Angeles. Carr quickly jumping aboard the bandwagon with a positive message was a fabulous gesture.
