Taylor Swift was not on hand as her beau Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs were shockingly defeated by the Denver Broncos on the road Sunday.
We can point to the tight end’s numbers with the pop sensation on hand. We can also look at what happened on Sunday with Kansas City finding itself as seven point favorites.
The Chiefs turned the ball over five times in what was one of the ugliest performances from Andy Reid’s squad in some time. The end result was a 24-9 loss to a Broncos team that’s weeks removed from giving up 70 points to the Miami Dolphins.
After Sunday’s loss to Denver inside Empower Field at Mile High, the Chiefs found themselves on the receiving end of an epic troll job.
You could hear Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” blaring from the sound system following the game. It was pretty hilarious stuff.
We’re not sure what Swift did to deserve this. But it’s all sorts of petty on the Broncos’ part.
As for Travis Kelce, he caught six passes for a mere 58 yards in the 15-point loss. This comes one week after the All-Pro tight end hauled in 12 passes for 179 yards in a win over the Los Angeles Chargers with his much better half in attendance.
We can expect this bad blood to continue moving forward into next season should Swift and Kelce still find themselves as an item. For now, the mediocre 3-5 Broncos just need to calm down.
