While we’re still in the early portion of NFL free agency, Denver Broncos fans have to be pleased with their offseason thus far.
They’ve already added a pair of potentially high-impact defenders to an already elite unit, signing linebacker Dre Greenlaw and safety Talanoa Hufanga from the San Francisco 49ers. Head coach Sean Payton got a new toy on offense too, signing former two-time Pro Bowl tight end Evan Engram. Now he could be eyeing another shiny weapon to go to battle with.

According to ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Denver Broncos “bear watching” in the Kupp free agency sweepstakes too. He also added the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots as two other teams worth monitoring.
“Teams that bear watching here include the Seattle Seahawks, the Denver Broncos, and the New England Patriots, amongst others.”
ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Cooper Kupp
Schefter adds that over 12 teams have shown some level of interest in adding Kupp to their roster this offseason. The former Super Bowl MVP was on track for a 1,000-yard season in 2024 before injuries limited him to just 12 games, so it’s no surprise he’s generating so much interest now that he’s on the open market.
