DeMarcus Cousins harassment charge dropped, case dismissed

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Los Angeles Lakers big man DeMarcus Cousins was cleared of third-degree harassment charges and his case was dismissed.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski shared this breaking news Friday afternoon.

Cousins had been accused of threatening his ex-girlfriend, Christy West, in a phone call that was shared by TMZ Sports in August. West had also previously asked for a protective order against Cousins over alleged verbal and physical abuse, Levi Edwards of AL.com noted at the time.
