Delanie Walker blasts Titans over ridiculous social media post

Spirits are not high in Nashville after the Tennessee Titans were shutout by the Denver Broncos on Sunday. It’s a game that saw Marcus Mariota benched in favor of Ryan Tannehill.

Now at 2-4 on the season, Tennessee is on the brink of irrelevance. Its fan base is frustrated. It now appears that at least one player shares in that frustration.

Here, Pro Bowl tight end Delanie Walker calls the Titans on Twitter after they announced that they have not made a decision about their Week 7 starting quarterback.

It was definitely an odd post from the social media team. Walker was not having any of it, and put his organization on absolute blast. The long-time Titans tight end wasn’t the only one to take exception to this non-announcement.

It just goes to show us that some tweets are better left in the draft folder. As it relates to the Titans, they are 2-4 heading into next week’s must-win game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

We’ll find out soon enough who will be under center for that game. Until then, enjoy an NFL team tripping all over itself.
