The Atlanta Falcons and star linebacker Deion Jones are reportedly in agreement on a four-year extension worth $57 million, including $34 million guaranteed, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Jones, originally a second-round pick out of LSU back in 2016, has become one of the elite cover linebackers in the NFL today.

In just three seasons, he already has racked up eight interceptions, utilizing his exceptional speed to turn three of them into defensive touchdowns. Additionally, Jones has tallied 299 tackles and two sacks.

Now, the 24-year-old is locked up through the 2023 season in Atlanta and should only continue to dominate as he enters his prime.
