When the Green Bay Packers take the field on Monday Night Football seeking to take down the Detroit Lions, they’ll have to do it without star wide receiver Davante Adams.
Green Bay ruled out its Pro Bowl receiver on Saturday after he was unable to practice while he continues to recover from the turf toe injury suffered against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Adams leads the team in receptions (25) and receiving yards (378) despite missing Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys. In his absence, Green Bay will likely turn to running back Aaron Jones in an expanded role, including in the passing game.
